For your taste buds

I have always been asked this question: Which is the best place to dine out here?
and although i have lunched and dined at most of the places around my area i still cant come up with one place that is really great.

All of them have either one or two things good to their credit. So it just struck me why dont i just jot down all the good bad n ugly things about restaurants i have visited.

The list is still in the making and as and when new developments happen the list will be updated.

So for the foodies like me heres something tempting for everyone!

1) Riveria serves good Dry Gobi Manchurian.
2) Don't order a Shorba at Riveria.
3) Never order Chinese or Sizzlers from Veg Sizzlers. Its at Kanakia Spaces.
4) Veg Grilled Sandwich is really good at Veg Sizzlers.
5) For a pizza dial Pizza Hut any time. No wait their timings are 1pm to 11pm.
6) Little Bite is the place for Pav Bhajji.
7) The best Rajasthani food is served at Rajdhani. The closest to my place is at Nirmal Life Style, Mulund.
8) Kathiyawadi is another good place for gujrathi and Rajashtni thali. Its a long drive from Thane towards Godhbandar Rd which heads towards Mira Rd i suppose.
9) I wouldnt recommend Cottage which is near to Neelkanth Hights.
10) Rangla Punjab is a fine place with good ambience and a little heavy on pockets but serves good food. Its ahead of Eden Woods.
11) Ramji NO comments :P
12) Shiv Sagar is a decently good restaurant on Ram Maruti Road.
13) Only Parathas best place with a large variety of mouth watering parathas. Not as heavy on pockets as on your stomach. Nearest is at Nirmal Life Style.

Leave in your suggestions and names of other res. i have missed out in the comments section. I will keep updating the list.

God tussi great ho!

8 hours... Its a long long long time to stand in a line waiting for the glimpse of the LalBagh cha Raja. But then think of this. 8 long hours you stand in the line with a damsel or a hansome hunk to give u company. That one minute glimpse of God is all worth the time u spent in line. After all you got to spend a hell lot of time with someone u wanted to. A perfect date. That to in the name of god. (wink wink)

Nothing perfect

There is nothing perfect about tonight.
I haven't studied what i had to,
haven't heard any thing good in fact got a terrible news tonight,
the usual cool breeze isn't blowing,
the books look fatter and fatter day by day,
didn't even meet up friends in the evening,
Ganpati visarjan took place today,
haven't had a long telephonic conversation tonight.
But still it still feels all good.
Some good music in the background and a hot cup of tea at 2:42 am makes it up for every thing.
Now that i have savoured every sip of my tea i should be getting back to books.

When did it all start?

Tum ho tho gaata hai dil,
tum nahi tho geet kahan?

Guys what were you doing two years from now? Were you too one of those whom the cute little cupid struck some two years back?
I guess it all started one winter night. When the rest of us slept peacefully the cupid made his way up to a few hearts. Soon the winter turned Autumn over night for a few beautiful beings. They were in bliss. The whole world now revolved around just one person, the better half. The wardrobe changed, looks mattered, you smelled perfect, messages increased from 5 to 50 in a day, of course your phone bill touched sky high, your orkut status changed overnight (no wait may be it didn't cos you didn't want ppl to know) , you couldn't but think of your beloved, you bunked lectures to be with your sweetiepie (eew that sounds so cliche, the word sweetiepie i mean), you exchanged glances while in class, you stood hours together in the railway concession line at college office leaning on each other, u sat on college staircase and heard your favourite songs on the ipod, missed trains waiting for one another or simply let trains pass by you to sweet talk for a little longer, went for any and every movie that was released, (i bet if i asked to review that movie you would be dumbfounded), ate the roadside falooda, took long walks along side the lake, or simply went for long drives.

All this happened in the past two years and i didnt even have a clue. :P

PS: did i mention Jaanu?? ;P

Secrets

Every one has a secret which takes its own good time to get out of covers. But the wait is worth it for some but just too sour for a few others.
