Hadtal!

With an early start to the day I & Ab were ready to hit the roads as early as 7.30am. Today was our day to finally start studying for our forthcoming college 'rehearsal' examinations. After a sumptuous breakfast at the Idli House we reached our college gates. The library doors were wide open, welcoming us, echoing 'its study time'. After settling down the books came out. The reading began. With the headphones plugged and our heads buried into the books pages were flipped until we got tired of it. Well its no surprise that we got bored within the first 10 mins itself. So to refresh ourselves there is always some amount of talking (read gossiping) that helps.
With the excitement of the CAT results being declared today, Ab tracked her score with the help of Mn. To her disappointment the scores weren't what she expected, at least not the initial goofed up score that she got to know (rather self interpreted)

Considering we had reached college early we were not quite affected by the petrol n CNG strike. We were relieved to have not gone through the ordeal of waiting in line for the Pawarnagar Bus or Rickshaw, for that matter. But it was only in the later half of the day where the strike affected certain friends of mine. Well planned 'appointments' got cancelled due to the 'damn' strike. The schedules got haywire and moods upset. But thats Mumbai for us. Expect the unexpected any time of the day or night.

At the end of the day there was some amount of satisfaction of having studied. Then there was lunch with friends, some plans getting cancelled, facing the over priced rickshaw fellows on the way back home, then a little bit of football kicks with complex friends, pani puri with MM n Ab, chatting online with a few other and now blogging abt the day after a long long time.

That was pretty much how the day went!
