Good night!

Nights are just perfect
the soothing moon light,
the shimmering stars,
The best time to shut ur eyes
talk for long hours.
A pleasant time to read, to study,
to listen to music, to dance,
to have a hot brewing cup of coffee,
to let your thoughts wander.
dab on the canvas,
sketch in the dark,
pour your feelings out on paper,
to be creative.
The right time to be online,
catch up with long lost friends,
tell them how much you miss them.
to go for a long long walk,
take your bike out and ride at 120 kmph,
to go on a long drive in the woods.
doing all your favourite things!

Thats me

After a refreshing dose of Abhinaya at dance class I decided to check out where and what some of my friends were upto that late evening. After having made a few phone calls i realized all were busy with their prior engagements. I nevertheless decided to head towards CCD and read something with the coffee to my company. Since i had just done with my dance class i was pretty hungry too and so ordered my fav spinach n corn sandwich with Frappee.
Soon after relishing every bit of it I dug my hand in my bag only to realise that i had forgotten my wallet at home!!!
Damn! But lucky enough that i hadn't asked for the bill yet. That saved me from a bit of embarrassment. So now i could pretend that i was either going to order something more or just sit there acting as if i was waiting for someone for some more time!
So what next? I got my cell out and dialed A. She conveniently hung up on me after a short conversation of 22 secs from which the only thing i could gather was that she had just finished her class and was still at the station. Useless ;)
Next on my dial list was M. I had just spoken to her and i knew she was at her friends house and was going to leave soon. She picked up the call and our conversation was something like this:
Me: Cash hai?
M: Kitna? (No pleasantries exchanged)
Me: 150
M: One hai par uss main se 30 auto ke liye lagega.
Me: Aaila.
M: Kya Hua?
Me: Main CCD main hoon...
M: WITH??
Me: aabe aakele ...
M: Hmmm....
Me: aur main ne maast dabake khaya...
M: aur?
Me: aur main wallet ghar bhul ke aayi!!!
M: What!!
Next all that i could hear was her burst of laughter!!!
Me: Aabe kuch kar...beg, borrow, steal...get home fast rescue me!!!!

I let out a sigh of relief. And now i wasn't pretending any more. I was actually waiting for M to arrive so that she could save me from the disgrace of washing the cups at CCD.
After 20 something minutes she arrived and as soon as we saw each other we were in splits!

Inspite of all this we ordered something more to drink and chatted away for the next 30 minutes ;)

Only i m capable of doing such stupid things i guess ;)

2nd May contd...

This day continued to be fun even in the later part of it. After nearly 8 years the 5 of us got together. Abha, Moon, Swati, Swathi n myself. After 8 long years. Swati came to see Swathi who has come down from Coimbatore for the vacation. It so happened that it was the first time that all the five of us were together and as my luck had it i didnt even have my usual morning lectures the next day. So we decided that we would spend the night at my place and have dinner outside.
After a lot of persuasion and getting a little bit of firing from one of the girls mom we finally made it to my house.
The pranksters that my friends are, I was the scrap goat for the night. Starting from the dinner table to the end of it. We spoke all through the night and pulled each others legs like never before. The old memories, the nostalgic moments, the cherishable photographs, and posed for a few more photographs too.
I must admit that i was beautifully trapped in their trick. But at the end of it they had to suffer a lot of beating from me for all that they had done!!
It was an evening to remember and cherish for very many years to come.

2nd May.

I am officially in the third and the last year of my college life. Today we had our admissions. The most tedious task specially if you are a Podarite. Its administration sucks big time. Next year this time around i will hold my first degree in hand. Not even one more year left and all we friends will be on our own ways. The thought of it gives me goose bumbs!
Besides todays KMs birthday too. Happy Birthday to you pal.
Also met a friend after a long time and we all got to go out for lunch together.
I got my long due bday gift from AB n MB with a beautiful card. After reading it I actually wondered when was the last time someone ever gave me a card with a handwritten message in it. Felt good to be on the receiving end this time! This bday has been one of my most cherish able ones! No complains about that!
Exactly six months from today i'll be writing one of the most toughest of papers. My PCC exams.
So todays day was significant in many ways.
